Chef Mahtab Ansari Joins Sayaji Hotel Vadodara as Executive Chef

Sayaji Hotel Vadodara has appointed Chef Mahtab Ansari as its new Executive Chef. With an illustrious culinary career spanning over 27 years, Chef Ansari brings a wealth of experience and a refined palate to his new role at the property.

Chef Ansari began his culinary journey in Delhi as a trainee and has since earned a strong reputation across the hospitality industry, both in India and internationally. Renowned for his expertise in European and International cuisine, he is celebrated for combining creativity and precision with a deep respect for culinary traditions in every kitchen he has helmed.

A major foundation of his career was laid at La Auberge, a fine-dining French restaurant in the UK, where his mastery of classic techniques paired with modern interpretations earned high praise. His professional journey includes significant contributions to major hospitality brands, including playing a pivotal role in the pre-opening of Planet Hollywood in Dubai, working with the prestigious Celebrity Cruise Line, and being instrumental in the launches of InterContinental Hotel, JW Marriott Hotels, Oakwood Premier Apartments, and Choice Hotels in Mumbai, as well as Centrepoint Hotels in Nagpur.

Before joining Sayaji Hotel Vadodara, Chef Ansari undertook various short-term assignments with hotels and restaurants both in India and abroad, where he successfully led diverse culinary teams and delivered elevated dining experiences across multiple cuisines.
