Radisson Strengthens India Presence with Five New Hotel Launches
Radisson Hotel Group has expanded its footprint in India with five new hotel openings in the first half of 2025, underscoring its commitment to delivering branded hospitality across emerging business hubs and high-potential travel destinations. The newly launched properties are located in Jamshedpur (Jharkhand), Yelahanka (Bengaluru), Koti (Shimla), Gaj (Punjab), and Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh), reflecting a strategic focus on catering to a diverse mix of travelers — from corporate guests in tier II cities and spiritual centers to leisure tourists exploring offbeat locations.
These openings reflect the Group’s flexible and growth-oriented strategy, leveraging conversion-friendly models across its brand portfolio, which includes Radisson, Park Inn & Suites by Radisson, and Radisson Individuals Retreats. While Jamshedpur meets the growing need for branded accommodations in industrial cities, Yelahanka supports the expanding urban landscape of Bengaluru. Meanwhile, destinations like Koti, Gaj, and Prayagraj illustrate the Group’s drive to bring branded hospitality to lesser-explored leisure markets.
“Our expansion is a direct outcome of Radisson Hotel Group’s adaptive development strategy and deep understanding of India’s dynamic hospitality landscape. From industrial cities like Jamshedpur to leisure and spiritual destinations like Koti and Prayagraj, we are committed to offering trusted, high-quality hospitality experiences wherever our guests go. Leveraging our diverse brand portfolio and flexible conversion models, we aim to create meaningful local partnerships while delivering consistent, world-class hospitality experiences that cater to business, leisure and spiritual travellers alike,” said Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and Area Senior Vice President – South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group.
