Disney Cruise Line Unveils ‘Gateway to Adventure’ in Mumbai Ahead of Singapore Launch
Disney Cruise Line is making waves in India with the launch of “Gateway to Adventure” — a consumer activation spotlighting the Disney Adventure, which is set to become the cruise line’s first ship to homeport in Singapore later this year.
Public Experience at Jio World Drive, Opening to the public on June 14, 2025, at the Jio World Drive mall in Mumbai, India, “Gateway to Adventure” will be a free, family-friendly experience that welcomes guests of all ages to explore interactive zones inspired by the Disney Adventure’s seven themed areas. These immersive zones will showcase beloved characters and stories from Disney, Pixar, and Marvel. The experience will be open daily from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM through July 6, 2025.
Step Into “Gateway to Adventure”
The activation, located on the ground and first floors of the mall, offers a preview of the magical experiences available aboard the Disney Adventure cruise ship.
Immersive Experiences Inspired by the Ship
Visitors to “Gateway to Adventure” can experience an installation inspired by the ship’s three-story storybook castle in the Disney Imagination Garden. Additionally, Marvel fans will be thrilled to see a life-sized Iron Man replica at Marvel Landing — the ship’s adventure zone housing three brand-new attractions.
Town Square, celebrating Disney royals onboard, will be recreated as an Instagrammable experience. Guests will also be able to discover the Big Hero 6 family entertainment area, which is based on San Fransokyo Street from the ship.
Photo Spots and Themed Areas
Additional photo-friendly areas will be featured at Jio World Drive mall’s TGCO Monsoon Hangar, where visitors can snap pictures with elements inspired by the iconic Disney Cruise ship’s funnel, Toy Story Place, Wayfinder Bay, and the Disney Discovery Reef.
Marvel Comic Debut for Cruise Guests
To commemorate the Disney Adventure’s inaugural season, Disney Cruise Line also revealed that Marvel Comics will publish a new Special Edition of Amazing Adventures #1 — a 32-page original collector’s comic book featuring Spider-Man, the Avengers, and other Marvel Super Heroes, many of whom will be featured onboard the cruise ship.
