Thomas Cook & SOTC Launch Disney Cruise Experience in India
Thomas Cook (India) Limited, a leading name in omnichannel travel services, and its group company SOTC Travel have joined forces with Disney Cruise Line to launch the brand’s first-ever consumer activation in India. Designed to offer a sneak peek into the world of Disney cruising, the initiative invites Indian travellers to preview the magic of a Disney Adventure cruise and take advantage of exclusive booking offers ahead of the ship’s debut in Asia.
Set to homeport in Singapore from December 2025, the Disney Adventure will be the first Disney cruise ship in Asia—promising an extraordinary sailing experience rooted in Disney’s signature storytelling and hospitality.
The “Gateway to Adventure” activation is now open to the public at Mumbai’s Jio World Drive and will run through July 6, 2025. Across the mall’s ground and first floors, visitors can explore immersive, photo-worthy spaces inspired by the Disney, Pixar, and Marvel stories that shape the seven themed zones onboard the Disney Adventure.
Rajeev Kale – President & Country Head, Holidays, MICE, Visa – Thomas Cook (India) Limited said, “Cruising is witnessing strong momentum, with a clear shift towards premium, experience-led sailings, rich in storytelling. Disney Adventure delivers this and more – a world-class cruise experience designed to captivate every age group. We are delighted to be the on-ground travel distributors for the unique “Gateway to Adventure” event and to inspire bookings via our special complimentary offer.”
S.D. Nandakumar – President & Country Head – Holidays and Corporate Tours, SOTC Travel Limited said, “Disney Cruise Line’s entry into Asia is a great opportunity for Indian travellers to experience the magic of Disney, closer to home. What’s encouraging is the strong demand that we are witnessing not only from India’s metros but also from emerging Tier 2 markets – highlighting a growing appetite for premium, global experiences. Indian travellers – across families, honeymooners and groups of friends – are now embracing cruising as a preferred holiday format.”
As Indian travellers show growing interest in cruise holidays, the Thomas Cook and SOTC India Holiday Report 2025 highlights that 45% of respondents are eager to explore cruise vacations. Cruise experts from Thomas Cook and SOTC will be available at Jio World Drive’s TGCO Monsoon Hangar to assist and guide customers through their booking journey, helping them find their perfect Disney cruise experience.
From world-class dining and high-energy entertainment to ultimate relaxation and unforgettable family moments, a Disney Adventure promises everything that makes cruising magical — now closer to home for Indian travellers.
