OYO and Yatra Join Forces to Boost Business Travel

OYO has joined hands with online travel agency platform Yatra to strengthen its presence in the business travel market, particularly targeting major business hubs such as Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, as well as key industrial regions and transit corridors.

Expanding Hotel Portfolio on Yatra

As part of this collaboration, over 500 of OYO’s company-serviced hotels have been onboarded to Yatra’s platform for the first time. These include hotels under OYO’s mid-premium and premium categories such as SUNDAY, Palette, Clubhouse, Townhouse, Townhouse Oak, and Collection O — catering to the needs of business travelers across India.

Looking ahead, OYO plans to add an additional 1,000 company-serviced hotels to the Yatra platform by September 2025. This move is expected to significantly enhance Yatra’s hotel inventory, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, where demand for quality business accommodation is steadily rising.

Enhanced Offerings for Corporate Travellers

The partnership is strategically aimed at providing consistent, quality stay options for India’s expanding base of business travelers. The growing demand is being driven by regional office expansions, economic development, and improved connectivity in emerging metros.

Yatra’s corporate clients will benefit from OYO’s flexible cancellation and rescheduling policies. Furthermore, OYO offers a suite of tailored corporate solutions, including centralized billing, real-time expense tracking, GST-compliant invoicing, and dedicated account managers to handle large-volume travel needs. All company-serviced OYO hotels offer standardized amenities such as clean linen, high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and hygienic bathrooms to ensure a comfortable, dependable stay.

OYO’s Strengthening B2B Focus

Earlier this year, OYO introduced Oravel Travel Solutions — a specialized B2B vertical aimed at meeting the travel and accommodation needs of corporate clients. This includes seamless check-in experiences, meal plans, conference and event support, as well as custom holiday packages.

The new partnership with Yatra will further bolster OYO’s corporate travel portfolio by leveraging Yatra’s extensive corporate clientele. This will help OYO drive consistent weekday occupancy in high-demand business locations, tapping into the more predictable and higher-yielding business travel segment.

Leadership Commentary

Commenting on the development, Varun Jain, Chief Operating Officer, OYO said, “While direct demand continues to be our mainstay, contributing nearly 80% of our total business, we are now looking to tap into a niche segment of business travelers who are exploring emerging business hubs. This partnership also opens up opportunities to cater to companies embracing blended travel programs, combining business and leisure, and adopting flexible mobility plans to enhance both cost efficiency and employee productivity.”
