The new schedule also includes enhanced connectivity to several other key Indian cities, including:
Varanasi, Raipur, Port Blair, Aurangabad, Guwahati, Nagpur, Dehradun, Patna, and Amritsar.
This broad network expansion demonstrates Air India’s commitment to meeting the rising travel demand during the 2025 winter tourism season, offering greater flexibility and convenience to passengers nationwide.
Upgraded Fleet for an Enhanced Travel Experience
According to the airline, Air India’s retrofit program for its legacy Airbus A320neo aircraft, launched in September 2024, is nearing completion.
Out of 27 legacy A320neo aircraft, 26 have been retrofitted with all-new cabin interiors, featuring three travel classes Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class.
With these upgrades and the inclusion of other modern single-aisle aircraft, Air India now operates over 100 A320 Family aircraft equipped with world-class interiors, ensuring passengers enjoy a premium, comfortable, and modern flying experience across more than 80 domestic and short-haul international routes.
