The celebration will bring together art, heritage, cuisine, and youth performances, creating a unique cultural mosaic at one of India’s most iconic landmarks.
A Celebration of Unity and Heritage
The Foundation Day event aims to highlight the rich cultural legacy and achievements of the states that share November 1 as their formation date. These include Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Punjab, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh, alongside Delhi.
Additionally, four Union Territories Chandigarh, Lakshadweep, Puducherry, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands also commemorate their foundation day on the same date, adding a national dimension to the celebration.
Cultural Performances by Students
The event will feature performances by students from the National Service Scheme (NSS), National Cadet Corps (NCC), and My Bharat program. These segments will showcase the talent and enthusiasm of India’s youth while promoting unity, patriotism, and cultural exchange.
The participation of young performers from diverse backgrounds will make the evening at the Red Fort a memorable display of India’s composite culture.
Tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel
As part of the celebrations, a projection mapping show dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, India’s first Deputy Prime Minister and Iron Man of India, will take center stage. The innovative projection display is expected to be a visual spectacle, combining technology and storytelling to honor Patel’s enduring legacy.
Culinary Delights from Across States
Adding to the festive spirit, the event will also feature food stalls representing each of the participating states. Visitors can savor regional delicacies and traditional dishes, offering a taste of India’s culinary richness from the spices of Tamil Nadu and Kerala to the hearty flavours of Punjab and Madhya Pradesh.
The food experience will not only delight visitors but also showcase the gastronomic diversity that defines India’s cultural landscape.
A Showcase of Culture, Cuisine, and Collaboration
