IRCTC Launches 2025 Ashta Jyotirlinga Shravan Special Yatra for Under ₹25K

Spiritual 15-day journey to begin from Solapur on July 19 and Madgaon on August 5, 2025

In a significant move to boost religious tourism, IRCTC’s West Zone (Mumbai) has unveiled the Ashta Jyotirlinga Shravan Special Yatra 2025 aboard the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train. This spiritually enriching journey is set to commence from Solapur on July 19, 2025, and from Madgaon on August 5, 2025, in alignment with the auspicious month of Shravan.

“Our goal is to make travel more accessible and enjoyable, ensuring that every trip is a memorable one,” said Gaurav Jha, Group General Manager, IRCTC West Zone. “These packages are crafted to provide spiritual depth, convenience, and cultural richness, especially during the holy month of Shravan.”

This thoughtfully designed pilgrimage provides devotees with a unique chance to visit eight sacred Jyotirlinga temples located across various Indian states. As part of IRCTC’s ongoing efforts to promote spiritual tourism, the journey promises a blend of devotion, affordability, comfort, and cultural immersion.

Passengers on the Ashta Jyotirlinga Yatra will enjoy a fully guided, all-inclusive religious tour, which includes visits to major holy sites such as Somnath (Gujarat), Nageshwar & Dwarkadhish (Dwarka), Trimbakeshwar (Nashik), Bhimashankar (Maharashtra), Grishneshwar (Aurangabad), Omkareshwar and Mahakaleshwar (Madhya Pradesh), and Mallikarjuna (Andhra Pradesh).

Tour pricing starts at ₹22,760 per person (from Solapur) and ₹23,880 per person (from Madgaon), with options based on the boarding station and travel class. The Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train, designed to carry 600–700 passengers, offers Sleeper (Non-AC), AC III Tier, and AC II Tier accommodations. Onboard amenities include infotainment screens, CCTV security, clean restrooms, and a modern pantry car that delivers fresh and hygienic vegetarian meals.
