The Goa Tourism Department is set to expand its global outreach with a dedicated roadshow in Bahrain on November 23. Announced on Wednesday, the initiative marks a significant step toward deepening the state’s engagement with the Gulf tourism market one of the fastest-growing visitor segments for India.
Strengthening Ties With the Gulf Tourism Market
According to a senior official from the Tourism Department, the Bahrain roadshow aims to enhance trade partnerships, promote year-round travel, and introduce travelers and stakeholders in Bahrain to Goa’s dynamic and evolving tourism landscape.
The Gulf region, with its strong outbound travel culture and rising interest in diverse leisure destinations, represents immense potential for Goa.
Showcasing a Contemporary, Culture-Rich Goa

Driving Year-Round Tourism
With the government’s continued focus on transforming Goa into a sustainable and globally competitive tourism hub, the Bahrain roadshow aligns with its broader strategy to diversify markets, encourage longer stays, and promote responsible tourism practices.
