Goa Tourism to Showcase Culture and Sustainability at ITB Asia 2025
The Goa government is set to showcase the state’s diverse tourism offerings from culture and heritage to wellness and sustainability at ITB Asia 2025, one of Asia’s leading travel trade shows. Scheduled to take place in Singapore from October 15 to 17, the event will bring together global tourism stakeholders, offering Goa an international platform to highlight its evolving travel identity.
Showcasing Goa’s Diverse Tourism Landscape
Officials from the Department of Tourism, Government of Goa said the state’s participation will emphasize its transformation into a destination offering authentic, meaningful, and regenerative experiences that go beyond traditional leisure tourism.
The Goa Pavilion will feature the state’s vibrant culture, rich heritage, serene beaches, adventure tourism, and holistic wellness retreats, positioning Goa as an all-season destination catering to travellers seeking both relaxation and immersive local experiences.
Promoting Sustainable and Responsible Tourism
Sustainability will be a major focus at Goa’s showcase this year. The state is working toward developing tourism models that preserve its natural and cultural resources while ensuring community involvement and long-term ecological balance.
“Goa’s participation at ITB Asia 2025 reinforces our commitment to promote tourism that is not only enriching but also environmentally responsible,” an official said. “We want visitors to experience the beauty of Goa while understanding the importance of conserving it.”
Highlighting Biodiversity and Wildlife Tourism
The Goa Forest Department will also be part of the state’s delegation, presenting the region’s biodiversity, wildlife sanctuaries, and eco-tourism initiatives. Visitors at the Goa Pavilion will get a glimpse into the state’s conservation efforts, nature trails, and immersive zoo experiences, showcasing how Goa’s wildlife tourism complements its cultural and coastal attractions.
Officials emphasized that these initiatives aim to encourage international travellers to explore the natural side of Goa, promoting a deeper connection with its forests, flora, and fauna.

By participating in ITB Asia 2025, Goa seeks to strengthen its presence in the global tourism market, build international collaborations, and attract a new generation of conscious travellers.
