Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty has announced the appointment of Sachin Katoch as its new Director of Sales, adding a seasoned hospitality professional to its leadership team. An MBA graduate in Marketing & Finance from Delhi Business School, Sachin brings more than 13 years of experience across India’s top hotel brands.
Early Career Journey
Sachin began his hospitality career in February 2012 as a Sales Executive with Fariyas Hotel and Resorts, managing corporate sales for Fariyas Resort Lonavala and Fariyas Mumbai. His strong performance led to a promotion as Assistant Sales Manager in July 2013.
Growth Across Leading Hotel Brands
In February 2014, Sachin joined Concept Hospitality as Assistant Sales Manager. Shortly after, he moved to Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport, continuing his growth in sales leadership.
His career took a significant turn in July 2016, when he joined Fairmont Jaipur, first as a Regional Sales Manager for Mumbai and later transitioning to a Sales Manager role at the property in June 2017.
In April 2019, Sachin moved to Hilton Jaipur as Senior Sales Manager and was promoted to Associate Director of Sales in January 2022.
Key Leadership Roles in Mumbai and Jaipur
Sachin’s journey continued at JW Marriott Juhu Mumbai, where he was appointed Associate Director of Sales in July 2022. His expertise led him back to Fairmont Jaipur in March 2023 as Associate Director of Sales, progressing to Cluster Associate Director of Sales in December 2023. By January 2025, he rose to the position of Director of Events, a role he held until his recent move to Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty.

Hailing from the picturesque Kangra Valley in Himachal Pradesh, Sachin belongs to the Chandravanshi Rajput Katoch clan, a lineage known for honour, courage, and a longstanding tradition of service.
