IHCL to Debut Vivanta Hotel in Vellore, Expanding Presence in Tamil Nadu
The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced plans to set up a Vivanta hotel in Vellore, marking the group’s maiden entry into the historic city. The announcement was made on December 19, underscoring IHCL’s continued focus on expanding its footprint in emerging urban and regional markets across India.
Partnership with BBK Group
IHCL has partnered with BBK Group to develop the greenfield hospitality project in the Vellore district. The collaboration reflects IHCL’s strategy of working with strong regional partners to bring its well-established brands to new destinations with high growth potential.

Commenting on the development, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice-President – Real Estate and Development, IHCL, highlighted Vellore’s strengths as a destination.
