IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) has announced the signing of six new hotels under its premium voco hotels brand in partnership with Alliance Hotels, further accelerating the brand’s footprint in Mexico. This strategic expansion will bring 848 additional rooms across some of the country’s most in-demand destinations, including Cancun, Guadalajara, Ciudad Juarez, San Luis Potosi, Torreon, and Nuevo Laredo.
Set to open in 2027, the hotels will undergo significant renovations to deliver the hallmark voco experience known for vibrant social spaces, welcoming arrivals, and distinctive design. The transformation aims to enhance owner returns while attracting both leisure and business travelers.

- voco Guadalajara Expo Area – 163 rooms located near Expo Guadalajara, ideal for business travelers.
- voco Cancun – 160 rooms with lagoon views and wellness areas, catering to leisure guests.
- voco Nuevo Laredo – 120 rooms located near the international bridge, offering convenience for cross-border travelers.
- voco Torreon – 124 rooms serving the automotive and agro-industrial sectors.
- voco San Luis Potosi – 135 rooms strategically located near industrial hubs.
