The India Bartender Guild (IBG) concluded a landmark year with two major achievements the successful completion of the IBG Zero Proof Competition 2025 and a proud Bronze Medal win at the 24th Golden Cup Cocktail Competition in Taiwan. IBG Zero Proof Competition 2025: Championing Responsible and Inclusive Mixology
As part of its continued commitment to promoting responsible bartending and alcohol-free innovation, IBG organised the Zero Proof Competition 2025, a premium non-alcoholic mixology and flair bartending championship. The competition focused on creativity, technical excellence, presentation, and international-standard bartending techniques, all without the use of alcohol.
The championship highlighted the growing importance of mindful, inclusive beverage culture, reflecting evolving consumer preferences and global hospitality trends.
National-Level Competition Across Key Hospitality Hubs
The Zero Proof Competition 2025 was conducted across two major hospitality destinations:
- New Delhi – 4 August 2025
- Goa – 11 August 2025
Both editions witnessed enthusiastic participation from skilled bartenders across India, along with strong engagement from hospitality professionals and industry leaders. The events emerged as some of the most impactful bartender competitions of the year, reinforcing IBG’s role in nurturing talent and setting professional benchmarks.

Building on their national success, the IBG champions represented India at the 24th Golden Cup Cocktail Competition, held in Taiwan from 16 to 20 December 2025. The Golden Cup is regarded as one of the world’s most prestigious bartending competitions, attracting elite talent from across the globe.

Competing against top international bartenders, the Indian contingent delivered a strong performance, securing a Bronze Medal for India a significant achievement reflecting the country’s rising technical standards and global competitiveness.

Adding to the significance of India’s participation, Archit Singhal, President of the India Bartender Guild, served as an official judge at the Golden Cup Cocktail Competition. A Historic Milestone: IBG Joins the International Bartenders Association
In another major development, the India Bartender Guild officially became a member of the International Bartenders Association (IBA). This historic milestone strengthens India’s role within the global bartending ecosystem and opens new avenues for international exposure, participation in global competitions, and alignment with internationally recognised professional standards.
