India’s Biggest Waterpark Coming Soon Near Ahmedabad
Mumbai-based Imagicaaworld Entertainment Ltd (IEL) is set to make a big splash in Gujarat as the company’s board has approved the acquisition of 100% equity in Malpani Parks Ahmedabad Pvt Ltd (MPAPL). Valued at ₹75 crore, the acquisition-pending shareholder approval will be executed through a mix of share purchase and fund infusion towards liabilities, making MPAPL a wholly-owned subsidiary of IEL.
This acquisition secures ownership of 34 acres of prime non-agricultural land near Ahmedabad, with clear title, highway frontage, and excellent connectivity. The land will serve as the foundation for developing India’s largest waterpark, envisioned to feature world-class rides, slides, and attractions built to international standards.
Strengthening Presence in Gujarat
The upcoming mega project marks IEL’s third venture in Gujarat, following the Aqua Imagicaa Water Park in Surat and the Sabarmati Riverfront project near Atal Bridge in Ahmedabad. With this expansion, IEL is poised to accelerate development timelines and introduce a flagship destination that will set new benchmarks for entertainment infrastructure in the country.
A Hub for World-Class Entertainment
Sharing his excitement about the project, Jai Malpani, Director of Imagicaaworld Entertainment, said:
“We are committed to creating best-in-class entertainment experiences for Indian consumers, and the Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar belt will now witness the launch of the country’s largest water park. This investment reinforces our geographical growth strategy and strengthens our position as India’s most trusted entertainment brand. We are quite excited with this landmark project, which will clearly increase our dominance in Western India, and enhance the customer experience many notches. This also reinforces our conviction of Gujarat as a hub for high quality entertainment and tourism.”
With this development, Imagicaaworld not only cements its dominance in Western India but also promises to enhance customer experiences, further strengthening Gujarat’s position as a premier entertainment and tourism destination.
