Our journey to Pahalgam in February 2025 was truly magical. We visited just before the unfortunate incident that later shook this serene valley. During our trip, we were lucky to experience Kashmir at its most peaceful. The landscapes were blanketed in snow, the surroundings echoed with silence, and the people filled the valley with warmth and hospitality. This blog is based on our latest Kashmir travel vlog. 🏨 Where We Stayed: Kolahoi Green Resort, Pahalgam

Located just a short walk from the Lidder River and surrounded by snow-covered pine forests, Kolahoi Green Resort felt like the perfect winter retreat.

At Kolahoi Green Resort Pahalgam, guests can choose from a wide variety of rooms and suites that cater to different tastes and budgets, each blending comfort with the charm of Kashmir’s natural beauty.

We stayed in their Gold Executive (Deluxe) Room– a cozy yet elegant abode nestled within the chalet-style cottages of Kolahoi Green Resort, Pahalgam. This room, roughly 170 sq ft, blends warmth and comfort seamlessly. It features a plush king bed and central heating to keep the chill of Pahalgam’s winter evenings at bay.

The room offers thoughtful modern comforts including a flat-screen TV, minibar, tea/coffee-making facility, digital safe, and complimentary Wi-Fi- perfect for both unwinding and staying connected.

One of the most magical moments of our stay was waking up to snowfall right outside our glass window. From the room, we could see snowflakes gently covering the mountains and trees. It created a postcard-perfect view for us that felt straight out of a fairytale.

Seamless services like in-room dining, laundry, ironing board (on request), and 24-hour room service ensure guests feel looked after around the clock. The en-suite bathroom continues the comfort track with contemporary fixtures, a refreshing shower, and premium toiletries.
