Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) has closed 2025 with its highest-ever Global Review Index (GRI) score, underscoring strong guest satisfaction, brand trust and service consistency across its South Asia portfolio. The milestone reflects the Group’s sustained focus on quality delivery, owner confidence and high levels of employee engagement across its growing network in India.

Strong Growth Momentum and Market Expansion in 2025

During the year, RHG maintained robust development momentum, recording 33 new hotel signings in India and expanding into 11 new destinations. The Group’s growth strategy spanned metro cities, leisure destinations and fast-emerging markets, supported by rising demand across both business and leisure travel segments.

Financial performance also remained strong, with RHG reporting a 6 per cent increase in RevPAR and a 7 per cent rise in ADR, driven by improved occupancies and disciplined pricing strategies. These gains translated into stronger GOP performance, delivering enhanced value for hotel owners.

Key Cities and Leisure Destinations Drive Performance

Major business markets such as Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Delhi NCR delivered steady performance throughout the year. Flagship properties including Radisson Hotel Hyderabad Hitec City and Radisson Blu MBD Hotel Noida emerged as leading assets within the portfolio.

Leisure destinations such as Lonavala and Udaipur continued to see robust demand, particularly from the MICE and wedding segments, reinforcing RHG’s strong positioning in experience-led travel.

Nationwide Footprint Expansion Across All Regions

RHG expanded its presence across every region of the country in 2025.

  • North India witnessed growth in Delhi NCR, Ludhiana and Lucknow, along with the opening of Radisson Resort Mount Abu.
  • West India added properties in destinations including Goa, Pawna Lake, Rajkot, Bhuj and Shirdi.
  • East India expanded with new hotels in Ranchi, Deoghar and Puri, alongside fresh signings in Bhubaneswar and Howrah.
  • South India continued to grow through strategic additions, including Radisson RED Bengaluru.

In addition, seven hotel conversions supported faster market entry and strengthened the Group’s presence in key locations.

Digital Strength and Brand Platform Performance

RHG further reinforced its digital ecosystem and brand platforms in 2025, reporting a 35 per cent increase in direct room nights booked through its website. This growth reflects the Group’s continued investment in digital engagement and direct distribution channels.

Leadership Perspective on 2025 Performance

“2025 has been a landmark year for Radisson Hotel Group in India. Our record GRI score reflects the trust guests place in us, the confidence owners have in our partnerships, and the pride our teams bring to every moment. Our growth has been purposeful entering high-impact destinations, strengthening our brand platforms, and building experiences that resonate deeply with how India is travelling today. As we enter 2026, our focus is clear: scale with intention, elevate experiences that matter, and create a future-ready network that delivers sustained value for guests, owners, and communities,” said Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group.

Development Strategy and Outlook for 2026

“Our focus in 2025 was well-defined; grow in markets where our brands can add value quickly, strengthen relationships with owners, and build deeper presence in regions where domestic travel is rising faster than supply. What truly stood out this year was the strong interest from both new and long-time partners, across leisure destinations and fast-growing secondary cities. Entering 11 new destinations has not only expanded our footprint but also sharpened our understanding of where demand is shifting in India. As we look ahead towards 2026, our priority is to grow in tier 1 and leisure destinations through our luxury, upper upscale and lifestyle brands,” said Davashish Srivastava, Senior Director – Development, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group.

Road Ahead: Targeting 150 Hotels in India

Looking ahead, Radisson Hotel Group aims to cross 150 operating hotels in India by 2026, with continued focus on Tier-II and Tier-III cities, leisure destinations and experience-led growth. With strong brand performance, expanding owner partnerships and a growing nationwide footprint, RHG is well positioned to sustain momentum in India’s dynamic hospitality landscape.
