Bringing India’s Cultural Spirit to Life
Set against the backdrop of one of Delhi’s most iconic landmarks, the evening promises a showcase of India’s rich cultural heritage. Attendees can expect energetic Dandiya and Garba dances, soulful musical performances, and a celebration of traditional art forms that bring history alive for visitors.
Mrs. Avantika Dalmia, Co-Chairman of the Advisory Board, Sabhyata Foundation, said: “India’s cultural heritage is a treasure we must preserve and celebrate. Hosting this first-of-its-kind cultural evening at the historic Purana Qila is a step towards bringing our traditions closer to people today. We are grateful to the Ministry of Culture, the Archaeological Survey of India, and the Government of Delhi for their support in making this occasion special.”
Sabhyata Foundation: Preserving Delhi’s Iconic Monuments
As a Smarak Sarathi, Sabhyata Foundation is entrusted with the upkeep and promotion of four iconic Delhi heritage sites:
- Purana Qila
- Humayun’s Tomb
- Safdarjung Tomb
- Mehrauli Archaeological Park
Focusing on accessibility, safety, and engaging visitor experiences, the foundation aims to make these historic sites must-visit destinations.
Building on the success of the ‘Jai Hind’ Sound & Light Show at the Red Fort, the foundation brings innovative cultural programming and storytelling to these monuments, ensuring history is experienced, not just observed.
Experience Heritage Like Never Before
This cultural evening at Purana Qila is part of a broader vision to connect modern audiences with India’s heritage. By combining vibrant performances, music, and dance with historic architecture, Sabhyata Foundation offers visitors a memorable journey into India’s cultural past.
Visitors can enjoy:
- Traditional dance and music performances
- Interactive and immersive experiences at historic sites
- Engaging cultural activities suitable for families, tourists, and history enthusiasts
With initiatives like these, Delhi’s monuments are not only being preserved, but also revitalized as living cultural spaces for all.
