Saudi Tourism Hosts Three-City India Roadshow 2025
Saudi Tourism has announced the latest edition of its much-anticipated India roadshow, scheduled to take place from September 15 to 19, 2025, across Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Delhi. This six-day mega event underscores Saudi Arabia’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with India, one of its most significant source markets for both leisure and business travel.
The roadshow aims to create impactful engagement opportunities with industry partners in these key cities, enhancing collaboration with Indian travel trade players. The initiative plays a crucial role in advancing Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which places tourism at the heart of its economic diversification agenda.
Showcasing Winter Season Offerings
Coinciding with mid-September, the event also serves as the launchpad for Saudi Arabia’s Winter Season portfolio, spotlighting new leisure experiences, Group Inclusive Tour (GIT) products, and tailored offerings for MICE and wedding tourism segments. The showcase follows the global unveiling of Saudi Tourism’s ‘Unreal Calendar’ campaign, featuring football icon Cristiano Ronaldo under the theme “I Came for Football, I Stayed for More.” This international campaign positions Saudi Arabia as a destination that seamlessly blends world-class sports, entertainment, culture, film, and fashion.
Saudi Stakeholders and Offerings
More than 14 leading Saudi suppliers, including DMCs, DMOs, and airlines, are joining the roadshow to highlight the Kingdom’s diverse offerings. From UNESCO World Heritage Sites and rich cultural heritage to modern attractions, varied landscapes, and vibrant events, the showcase emphasizes Saudi Arabia’s transformation into a premier global travel destination.
The roadshow is designed as a powerful knowledge-sharing platform, enabling Saudi tourism stakeholders to spotlight the latest developments while fostering stronger buyer-supplier partnerships with Indian agents.
India: A Priority Market for Saudi Arabia
India remains one of Saudi Arabia’s top priority markets, driven by its status as the world’s fastest-growing large economy, its rapidly expanding middle class, and the unmatched demographic advantage of being home to the world’s largest youth population. Improved air connectivity and short-haul flight distances make Saudi Arabia an attractive choice for Indian travellers across segments, from pilgrims and leisure seekers to corporates and wedding planners.
Saudi Vision 2030 and Tourism Growth
Tourism continues to be a central pillar of Saudi Vision 2030, with the Kingdom investing heavily in tourism infrastructure, events, and experiences. Record-breaking international arrivals in recent years demonstrate the success of Saudi Arabia’s ambitious strategy. Roadshows like this, alongside curated trade activations and participation in global travel fairs, reflect the country’s goal of positioning itself among the world’s most sought-after destinations with India as a key partner in this journey.
