The initiative aims to boost visitor inflow, improve infrastructure, and create livelihood opportunities for local communities.
A Vision for Sustainable Tourism Development
Tamang emphasised that tourism in the North-Eastern Region holds immense potential due to its rich cultural diversity, natural beauty, and adventure possibilities. By fostering inter-state cooperation, the task force seeks to develop a framework that promotes eco-tourism, cultural tourism, and adventure tourism while preserving the ecological and cultural integrity of the region.
