The ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan’, a nationwide health campaign focused on women and family well-being, has concluded with record-breaking participation. According to the Union Health Ministry, more than 18 lakh health camps were conducted during the 16-day campaign, benefiting crores of citizens across the country.

Massive Footfall and Outreach

Running from September 17 to October 2, 2025, the campaign witnessed an extraordinary footfall of nearly 10 crore citizens. Out of this, more than 6.5 crore women directly benefited from various health services, including screenings, check-ups, and access to specialty healthcare.

The initiative was designed to empower women through improved healthcare access, thereby strengthening families and communities nationwide.

Over 18 Lakh Health Camps Conducted

By the conclusion of the campaign on October 2, a total of 18,08,071 health camps were organized across India. These camps included both general screening programs and specialty medical services, ensuring holistic healthcare coverage.

This massive scale of execution highlights the government’s commitment to accessible, affordable, and inclusive healthcare for women and children, who often face barriers in availing timely medical attention.

Empowering Women, Strengthening Families

The ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan’ was launched with the belief that a healthy woman leads to a stronger family and community. The large-scale participation reflects a growing awareness and prioritization of preventive healthcare in India.
