The Golden Tusk, a serene family holiday retreat located on the edge of Jim Corbett National Park, has unveiled the expansion and redesign of its signature all-day dining restaurant, The Golden Forest. The refreshed space, now spanning 350 sq ft, blends local Kumaoni flavours, live food counters, and stunning views of Corbett’s wilderness promising guests an elevated and immersive dining experience.
A Celebration of Local Flavours and Culture
The newly expanded Golden Forest restaurant celebrates the region’s vibrant culinary heritage. Guests can indulge in local Kumaoni favourites such as Aloo Gutke, Bhatt ki Churkani, Kaapa, Bhang ki Chutney, and Jhangore ki Kheer, along with a wide-ranging multi-cuisine buffet featuring Indian, Oriental, and Continental delights.
The restaurant also introduces live Indian street food stations and a dedicated Kumaoni corner, offering guests an authentic taste of Uttarakhand’s rich culinary traditions.
A Dining Space Inspired by Nature
Designed to reflect the wilderness of Jim Corbett, The Golden Forest combines rustic elegance with contemporary comfort. The interiors feature soaring ceilings, forest-inspired décor, and expanded seating both indoors and on the open-air deck offering breathtaking views of the national park.
“With the revamped Golden Forest, we wanted to go beyond dining and create spaces that celebrate local culture and ingredients while catering to diverse guest preferences,” said Anirudh Lakhotia, Director, Ivory Destinations. “Guests can now enjoy not only great food but also the ambience and storytelling of the forest in every meal.”
An Array of Unique Dining Experiences
In addition to The Golden Forest, The Golden Tusk offers several unique dining experiences designed to suit every mood and occasion. Guests can enjoy live cooking stations, chef’s specials using seasonal produce, and themed menus celebrating Indian and global flavours.
Other distinctive culinary venues at the resort include The Jungle Grill, Water Dining, and The Gin Tree, along with private dining spaces perfect for intimate celebrations.
Sustainable Dining and Responsible Luxury
Committed to sustainable hospitality, The Golden Tusk continues to champion eco-conscious practices and community engagement. Spanning across 10 acres of lush greenery, the resort’s culinary and accommodation experiences are designed to connect guests with nature while promoting responsible luxury.
By revamping The Golden Forest, The Golden Tusk reinforces its position as a culinary and experiential haven in Jim Corbett where food, nature, and storytelling come together to create lasting memories.
